Study of Upside Down

I know it's messy, I don't have an eraser and I tend to spread graphite dust everywhere (like, all over my face and everything) while I draw. I don't like this as much as I thought I was going to. The work in progress looks better than this, I think I may have overworked it slightly. Oh well, it's done now.

HB, 2B, 3B and 5B pencils on thick sketchpad paper. Constructive criticism is truly appreciated.

ETA: Yes, I know I can't draw hands. The emphasis was meant to be on the cat... the hand is only there to stop the cat from floating in mid-air. I realise the worst part of this drawing is the damn hand. I hope that's the worst part anyway. I'm not good at skin.
